Memorial Bridge Traffic Changes / Detour Maps
It’s only a short drive from Portsmouth, NH to Kittery, ME and back again. The interactive Google Map in the large box below will assist in your travel planning during the temporary closure of the Memorial Bridge. Orange detours signs are also located along the roadways so please just follow these signs. Or, click on the small blue boxes below for a printable detour map. State Street – Re-Routed
In addition to the recent closure of Dutton Avenue and Scott Avenue, the underpass located at the end of State Street in Portsmouth, will be closed to traffic, on March 31 at 7:00 am, to allow for demolition to continue. Two dead ends will be created. The Prescott Park parking lot will remain open for vehicles. The new traffic pattern is shown on the map. Stay tuned for further updates on the date of closure.
