Drive with Caution, Near the Bridge

If you are driving near the Memorial Bridge, in Portsmouth, please use extra caution near Prescott Park, State Street, Marcy Street, and Daniel Street.  There are many pedestrians, cyclists, painters, photographers, and others engaged in spring time activities, near the bridge.

While you are downtown viewing the demolition activities, please visit the Warner House, located at 150 Daniel Street, open every day from noon-4pm (closed on Tuesday).  The Warner House is the earliest extant brick urban mansion in New England, built in 1716-1718.  Did you know that Portsmouth is the 6th most historic town in America?

Also, stay tuned for the 2012 Prescott Park Arts Festival schedule of performances.   This summer the feature performance is Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, plus many, many other exciting events and performances for all of us to enjoy.  Thank you Prescott Park Arts Festival for helping make Portsmouth a great place to live, work, and play.
