Project Overview

The innovative design of the new Memorial Bridge achieves visual clarity and transparency and is the first truss bridge of its kind. Lift span machinery will be below deck, the pedestrian walkways will be inside truss planes, and an innovative truss design eliminates gusset plates. The design allows an expedited fabrication process and reduced costs to inspect and maintain over its life.
